The beginning of this project began with grid studies in black and white. Variations of the grid were created by adding black/ or white, not both. In this case, I added black to create a variation of the original grid which consisted of evenly spaced dots of the same size. After fully experimenting with the grid, it was then applied to the design of the currency. I chose to design an international note, after traveling abroad, being frustrated by exchange rates and complications. This note would be the same in nations which are a part of the UN. Because of this, the currency requires backing, which would be put in place by Amnesty International. The people chosen for the bill design were selected for their merit as individuals of social change. I believe that all of their lives affected the world on an international scale.
