Have you ever experienced how your loved ones hobby can effect your life? .. well.. MyOne is in love with Star Wars. It filled his childhood and he has a very big interest to anything connected to it. So much that he actually become a real Stormtrooper himself not long ago. 

There is a quite big international organization, called 501 legion, which he is part of, more precisly he is the member of the Nordic Garrison.

 

"The 501st began as a simple club for people who enjoyed dressing up as Star Wars bad guys such as Darth Vader and his stormtroopers. It spread rapidly and now has over 6000 active members in every corner of the globe.

As the club grew, the members realised that we could use this hobby to do good within our local communities. Our members do not get paid for appearances, instead we ask for a donation to our charity collection. The 501st Legion collects millions of dollars for charity each year and has earned the nickname "The bad guys doing good." We are always looking for opportunities to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and to bring awareness to good causes on both a local and global scale.

The Legion is divided into garrisons and outposts with each covering a certain geographical area. The 501st Legion: Nordic Garrison has been protecting Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden from Rebel activities since 2001 and currently consists of about 140 members." from the Nordic Garrison's website

However, I have a real trooper assuring my safety in life. And he deservs nothing less than the best. Which is why I made these cups for him as a gift to practce his other big passion, drinking coffee.

In the inside the Imperial cog is stamped in, so when you finish your strong black coffee the leftower sits in the logo, drawing it nicely.

Of course many of his friends started to like the cups so the demand came to make bigger cups and ones stamped with the logo of the rebels as well. So be it I thought.
