This is a collection of five decks that depicts a compilation of retro romanian motifs, real marks of the pre and early post '89 revolution timezone. In a hystoric order, i would start with BRIFCORe, one of the early romanian communist brands. It was a soda-juice made from herbal plants and it somehow tasted like oranje juice. No real oranjes were harmed. The next one would be CARPATI, another communist brand of cigarettes.Perhaps the most popular brand of unfiltered cigarettes, only in Romania. BANANA stands for a common practice during the last years of communism and after, which was to put green bananas on newspaper and let them get yellow. However many forgot them in the process and the bananas would turn maroon and get stinky. TURBO is the very first imported chewing gum in Romania after the '89 revolution. It was made in Turkey and it was a big success to the romanian kids. TEC was the name of the juice machines in the early nineties that made our childhood sweater. Also inflicted all kinds of chemicals into our bodies, but we didn't care that much in those times.
