Construction Branding ProjectTo build anticipation and excitement for the new athletic complex, I pitched a branding project consisting of banners wrapping the construction site fence featuring students participating in varsity athletic and recreational activities. The project was a huge success and was displayed throughout the entire construction project. I even discovered students were taking pictures of the banners and tagging friends on Facebook.

Field House Graphics
The theme throughout the building was to portray current or recently graduated students printed on
removable materials to allow for updating. This let students feel like the complex
belonged to them by creating a customized experience.

The field house was one of the biggest challenges of the new building and not because the graphics would span the length of the 200m indoor track. The approval committee requested the graphics equally represent athletics, recreation, and community because of the variety of events hosted in the field house from track meets to musical performances to commencement. Along with photo resolution issues, the process of deciding upon which images to use and how to crop them became key components to the success of the project.
This concept was chosen by the approval committee out of several different
two-dimensional and three-dimensional design concepts proposed.

Athletic OfficesThis is a photo of the entrance to the Athletic Department. The graphic portrayed was designed to span the length of the reception area wall as a visual backdrop representing every male
and female varsity team at the university.

Atrium BannersAs a person walks through the atrium in the athletic complex, they notice each direction they walk provides a new experience graphically. Walking toward the heart of campus, they will notice all the banners facing them are beautiful full-color images with students they recognize making them feel like they are creating tradition at the university. As they head the opposite direction, all of the banners facing them have historic images to signify becoming a part of the 126 year tradition already created.

Golf Simulator Room This incredible feature in the athletic complex allows the varsity golf teams to practice during the winter as well as allow students, faculty, and staff, work on becoming a pro. What better way to make the experience feel real than to cover both walls from floor to ceiling with images from a golf course making it feel like you are actually there! As you can see, these materials were applied to a brick wall, but actually look painted.

Miscellaneous GraphicsThroughout the building miscellaneous graphics are installed on brick, dry wall, laminated floors, poured concrete, glass, and metal retractable gates. I have gained extensive experience working first-hand with all the different materials required for almost any application and have developed a keen eye for recognizing branding opportunities. This image is an example of a graphic applied to a retractable gate.
