Funny thing about this image was that it inmediately became viral in Venezuela and neighboring countries (where Simon Bolivar is known), where people started to reproduce it everyehere, from inspiring social media characters...

And you can still find many people using it as avatars on social media. In a way I think it simbolized a response agaisnt the way old myhts about historic figures get reinvented as political weapons, showing just how maleable history can be.
