We are working on the curation, design and strategy for the first edition of
Crafty 2010 - a conference dedicated to the diminishing art of craftsmanship, kicking off with the event website.
Inspired by the aesthetics of an exposed ceiling - commonly achieved in spacial design to create a raw, wysiwyg sensibility, revealing the pipes, steel beams and lighting fixtures; we conceived a website for
Crafty - a conference dedicated to artistry, process and diy-ism, with an exposed grid system combined with a fluid navigation that strips away the experience of traditional web pages.
The site also features a custom styled typeface we code-named "Krotesk Regular", to provide a DIY aesthetic for the headers.
