Crafted For The Senses

Chivas 18, Crafted For The Senses takes the reader on a sensory journey, exploring sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell and Kinaesthesia through magnificent cocktails and inspirational interviews with six gentlemen who are considered world-wide leaders in their fields. Each, with their own style and expertise we learn what drives them to reach the dizzy heights of their respective crafts and how they achieve personal fulfilment. From Saville Row Tailor, Nick Hart, to the world's first Michelin star Indian chef, Atul Kochhar, the gentlemen align themselves with the forward thinking, sophisticated and contemporary brand that is Chivas 18.

The six individuals and their appreciation of the senses are complemented by a series of Chivas 18 based drinks created by Chivas Brand Ambassador Max Warner. The drinks are beautifully captured by photographer Richard Mountney, with styling by Emma Duncan.

The interviews are displayed across large throw-out sections, with each individual being introduced through a specially commissioned portrait. Artists and styles were carefully chosen to reflect the individual's personality, craft and inspirations. 

Crafted For The Senses aims to encourage, surprise and inspire mixologists and bartenders. The engaging stories, luxury finishing and crafted design all stay true to Chivas 18's brand values.

Following the Crafted For The Senses book, an iPad app was created transforming the book into digital format with animated illustrations and film, with users directed by a sensory menu.
