Cox Enginneering - Branding
- Cox Engineering
When an engineering company doesn't want to look like 'just' an engineering company - A Fantastic Young Engineering Company from Australia, Cox Engineering were looking for something striking to break the mold of the typical engineering firm logos. The wanted to be clean and precise without the need for cliches and images of scaffolding or cogs. I created the logos with sharp angles a circular cuts to suggest movement and change, I wanted it to look like you'd taken a photo of a machine in action and this freeze frame became the logo. The typographic treatment of the Cox name is meant to be suggestive but not 'in your face'. I want you to look at the logo, think about it.
- Image 1 - The simplified logo.
- Image 2 - The logo treatment in colour. Rather than confine the brand to a specific colour scheme i feel the strong lines of the COX name allow the logo to be given colour treatments when necessary.
- Business card, Letterhead and Envelope examples.
