Cottonwood Vineyards Packaging

As a college branding project in 2008, I was made to update the brand of "Cottonwood Vineyards" to something that would bring the brand into a new modern and sleek-looking era. I chose a san-serif typography and a simple but abstract vector illustration of a cottonwood tree trunk as my new approach to the branding. Each bottle label was two color with a diecut that would extend out of the logo to add an interesting twist to the simplicity of the rest of the label. I chose a limited two-color approach for each variety of wine, but a bright color palate that would extend across all varietals of wine that would stand out if placed near each other on the vineyard's retail shelves.
It's an oldie, but I've decided to keep this branding project in my portfolio through the years because, although I've learned a lot since 2008, I still displayed some solid thinking,
even back then, and feel that this project has been able to keep standing strong through the test of time.
