This project was a result of an assignment to create a new identity for an existing company. At the time of this project, HP had only recently acquired Palm and the company was still active. There was no idea of how the new purchase would be integrated, so it was decided to treat it as though it were a sub-brand. The idea was to combine both names into a new and unique identity from the rest of HP, just as they had done for their Compaq division. Also in keeping with the existing branding, it was based in typography. A series of different ideas on this theme were attempted.
For the redesign, stationary and business cards were created.
