Corporate Identity Marks
This identity mark for a social networking marketing firm employs an image that is based loosely on an optical illusion. The graphic plays with the eyes of the viewer, creating a sense of motion.
This identity mark is for a company that makes sound panels for recording studio type environments. The graphic is based on the shape of their product. Within that shape is a visual representation of sound waves.
This is an identity for a chain of upscale chemical recovery centers. The globe and the earth tone color palette are used to convey a sense of nature. The blue halo behind the globe imparts a sense of energy, creating a "reaction" of origin.
This is a proposed logo for a company that makes scientific lab equipment. The concept is the meeting of something structured and solid with something active and energetic...a visual representation of the company's product in use.
This mark uses a stylized depiction of an Agave Cactus, based on the name of the company. The company makes various computer related software and products. They wanted to appear professional while maintaining a playful edge.
A proposed logo for a computer software company. The font is one I created for this project. The graphic above the text is a stylized representation of a running figure "dashing" toward the finish line.
This is an identity mark for an independent record label. The graphic uses simple elements to represent both sound and the grooves of a vinyl record. The text imparts a clean, stable, and modern feel.- A logo for the mighty electricians. The font for "mighty" was chosen for an "M" which has negative space reminiscent of a power plug, and for a feeling of power. Together with a "bolt" element, it subtly references comic book heroes.
- My submission to an annual contest run by the Alameda County Fair. The theme for the 2009 season is "Summer Starts Here". I used graphic elements to represent the summer sun as well as the night sky, as the fair runs through the day and into the night. The Palm Trees that line the entryway into the fair complex appear at left. At right is the image of a Ferris Wheel, which is visible as one approaches the fair entry. The silhouettes of a walking family are used to represent the family friendly aspect of this summertime event.
