Project Description: Design corporate headquarters for Livestrong.

Concept: Inspired by Livestrong’s mission statement: The Lance Armstrong foundation inspires and empowers people affected my cancer.  We believe that unity is strength, knowledge is power, and attitude is everything.  Not only can these words be used for cancer patients and the employees working for Livestrong, but the building itself should evoke this message as well.  Materials that give an impression of strength and power such as concrete or wood timbers were used throughout the space.  To create a sense of Unity, work stations were arranged in groups according to department.  Group areas such as the break room and copy area were placed in the middle of the office to create a central hub where employees could feel connected.
