As part of a branding project requiring the design and publication of new marketing materials; I was responsible for co-ordinating content, marketing information and writing copy for new print and digital outputs for John Evans Interiors, an interior architecture practice in the Midlands, UK.
Copywriting for Interior Design included:
35 page A4 Professional Profile - a brochure for prospective clients
Leaflet - a trifold visual leaflet with key project description, practice resources, accreditations and contacts.
Press Releases - project launch information, descriptive design copy and quotations from designers involved. Follow up support to Journalists, supplying additional project information when required.
Collating existing brand information, identifying messages and key strengths to portfolio.
Selecting projects from visual archives, forming copy and sourcing direct quotes and project research from design teams.
Design Copywriting - forming descriptive copy to best explain the design approach, aesthetics and materials used to produce finished interior design.
Business Copywriting - Identifying working practices, devising understandable format to explain procedures, resources and project services.
Media Relations - selection and introduction of key press and publicity to strengthen image and message being told through the material. Copywriting for Press Releases, upon completion of projects, to gain publicity and editorial opportunities.
Advertising Copywriting - formation of copy for adverts, short, attention-grabbing informative copy to support visual design of adverts.
