Cone is a digitally constructed piece, printed on archival, 100% cotton, fine art paper using archival inks.


This print is part of a series called Micro. The prints of the Micro Series were created to compliment one another and when displayed together, create a great visual impact.


I love looking through microscopic images. As I do, it becomes apparent that there is a whole other world of symmetry and shape unseen by the naked eye. The microscope reveals beautiful art forms, and a world that is basic in its smallness, but complex it it's intricacy.

The Micro series came about during a time when I was feverishly collecting microscopic images. After finding great inspiration from the microscopic world, I distilled all I'd accumulated into several imagined pieces, creating my own little collection of "microorganisms" and I named them each after their principle shape characteristic.
