  • One design brief. Teams of two people. 24 hours. Maximum two proposals pr team. That's basically the terms of the Young Creative Circle competition. The brief was to make an appealing package for three condoms as a give away for danish non-profit organization Sex and Health. The target group was young people from age 15-25.

Combined with no sleep, Thai food and lots of coffee this was what we made in the 24 hours.

Made in collaboration with Mads Jakob Poulsen.

The package is constructed so it opens from the right to the left, revealing a simple humoristic statement as each condom is taken out (and hopefully used!). The statement simply connects 'condoms' with 'having sex', and 'no more condoms' meaning 'no more sex'. The message should come across in eye level with the target group without being patronising or judgemental. Sex is fun, yet serious.

Our second proposal asked a simple question: Why do we hide our condoms in our pocket instead of showing that we practice safe sex? The design features a minimalistic designed pocket-shaped sticker holding a condom. The design is simple and iconic. The message is clear - even at a longer distance; why hide your condoms when you can show them off? Being safe is cool!

The sticker is designed to be placed on everything from clothes, cars to bathroom walls - where ever you like.
