In the weeks prior to creating this annual report for theMid-Ohio Foodbank I had traveled to New York City. During the trip I visitedmany art museums and was inspired by some very unique design manuals that hadused slipcovers effectively. I decided that I wanted to create a slipcover foran upcoming project and was able to do so with this annual report. The cover encompassesthe idea of collecting nonperishable food, a main objective for the foodbank,and applies it to the report itself in the form of a grocery bag. The die cutsection reads “shop” from the exterior and is realized as “Shop for others”when the cover is removed. The exterior of the book was inspired by the famousCampbell’s soup print series by Andy Warhol.
Note: All photographs and illustrations were created by me specifically forthis project. The annual report was developed in accordance with the corporatebranding standards of the Mid-Ohio Foodbank.
