Chupa Chups (2009)
Art Direction and Design for a proposal for Chupa Chups.
Back in 2009, there was a new technology for Flash called "Augmented Reality" where a something physical can be read by a webcam and produce some interesting interactions.
When I was in BBH, we wanted to play with this technology's potential with one of our own clients. We wanted to change the way the traditional packaging to resemble a box that is used as markers for an AR application. The twist is that the more boxes or marker you put together, the more interesting and random the effect would be.
This was just a concept or proposal - hence the rough design - but sadly, the idea was never realized. I thought it was awesome because it was the first time I did a product package design.
