Command Transportation is a logistics company based in Skokie, IL. The company has over 500 employees and a pair of owners with fun sense of humor. Their humor led them to purchase a large 30ft electronic billboard to place on the side of the main office, just off of one of the busiest interstates heading downtown.

 

The IT team at Command has been given creative control over the sign and use it to poke fun at a vast array of topics ranging from sports, holidays, weather, and even celebrities. The signs have been featured on news networks such as NBC, ESPN, FSN, MSN, Yahoo, and many others. Thanks to excellent timing and some of our best quips, we've grown to over 2,000 followers on the @CommandSign twitter account. Below is a collection of billboard designs that I have created during my time at Command Transportation. Enjoy.

This project is all for fun. Command Transportation earns nothing from the billboard. The designs are merely created to brighten the struggling commuter stuck in Chicago traffic.
