I designed and illustrated this story and cover for Columbia College 's zine publication called Pickle Stitch. The cover was a play off of the title of the zine and shows an old pickle couple sitting on their front porch. This fictional story was written by a Columbia student and is about the escape of a Koi fish from his tank. I wanted the text to flow across the page and mimic the movement of the fish in the story. The type is handwritten to mimic the style of the illustration. Read Less
