I know what you’re thinking:“Columbia House? They’re still around?” The answer is yes. And for six weeks in early 2008, they ran The Ultimate Players Club contest, encouraging new members to sign up and put their knowledge of movie trivia to the test.
During the the contest, the URL YouAndMeInLA.com received over 75K unique site visits. Over 84% of traffic came directly from the online media buy with a cost / visit (brand exposure) of only $1.96!
On this project, I wrote web and banner ad copy, and wrote over 200 movie trivia questions for the game. Best. Job. Ever.
