My name is Bunny Switchblade and I am a wife, mother of two, and a grandmother of two with another on the way!
I grew up in the Baltimore Highlands area of Baltimore County, Maryland on the edge of Baltimore City. It is, and was, a lower to middle, working-class area and definitely a tough place to grow up, especially for a girl. I did not graduate from High School. I did not have the same opportunities as other more fortunate people had, but I worked hard to make something of myself and found that in working hard, opportunity comes. I have a wonderful family that loves me and a wonderful life now.
When I was 15 years old I received my first tattoo from a boy I was dating. It was a pachuco cross on my left index finger done with needle, thread, and india ink that has since been partially covered by another tattoo. At 18 years of age I received my first professional tattoo by tattoo artist Julie Moon. That tattoo began what has been a 26 year love affair with tattoos. Although society has not wanted to accept me for most of my 26 years because I am a tattooed woman, I did not let that hold me back from achieving what I wanted to in life!
