I first encountered Lisa's work in 2011 as part of the 365 project she created a series of self portraits over the course of the year. Always hungry for visual reference and an inspiring spark from which to connect the drawing process, Lisa's work contains an element of escapism which I feel channels well through the drawings I create - this project is a collection of works which have been inspired by lisa's photography.
