Sometimes the experts behind a brand are the people who use the brand. Such is the case with Coleman, so, we capitalized on this insite when creating a spec website for the them. We proposed all content - image-wise be user generated, the experience to be intuitive for returning visitors, and there be a large social media component. The social media component we suggested was named Basecamp and was to live on both Facebook as well as the new website. To further promote the two ideas, we created a viral video, highlighting one of the many benefits of Basecamp. Despite not being in actual existence, the video received well over 350 views on Youtube.
