PRESS Hot Drinks
A redesign of the hot drinks menu and pamphlet.
This projet started with a thick description of a local coffee shop. This required sitting in the shop for an hour and recording everything about it. I noticed that most of the customers were having trouble with the very nondescript menu. I developed a solution to this problem by rearranging the drinks and illustrating what was in them and giving them a relative size. This way a customer will know what they are getting. No more ordering a macchiato and wanting a 'starbucks' macchiato and getting an 'italian' macchiato.

The menu is five feet tall and can be read from up to 30 feet away. It is constructed by transferring a color laser print onto board.

I also designed an informational concept map to help people decide on what drink they would want. It asks questions and points them to a delicious beverage based on how they answer. I tried to keep it lighthearted.
