This piece was created as part of a cover art project for PsyBreaks label Warped Recordings and their new EP release from Sydney-based producer Will Marshall.
To help convey the EP's dark, apocalyptic tone, I settled on an Hollywood poster-style monster movie/alien invasion theme with extreme fire/lighting/blending effects to help convey the end-of-the-world overtones.
There's also more than a little hint of a giant snake crashing its away through this contemporary city-scape, which help tie the artwork into the lead-track's title of 'Civil Serpent'!
