The goal of this project was to rebrand an existing Mexican bakery and be as economical as possible. The owner wanted to attract new clients without alienating his existing Mexican clientele.
The City Life Bakery branding is composed of two parts. Its’ illustrative quality is inspired by handmade Mexican grocery store signs. As a Mexican bakery this makes the branding more approachable. This is mixed with a more polished and modern quality.
This combination reflects a lively city, mixing a rich heritage with a modern lifestyle. The color and texture palette is inspired by the rich surface of the pastries.
