Iron Mountain are trusted experts in the field of data management, storage and retrieval, with more than 95% of the Fortune 1000 and over 85% of the FTSE 100 companies as their clients. As such, they are constantly innovating and investing in systems and technology to keep then at the forefront of their industry.
To introduce the latest systems initiative to their European network, I was briefed to devise an eDM campaign that would raise awareness and stimulate interest with both management and end-user sales teams.
The client was astutely aware that corporate internal comms were often little more than branded memos, shackled by their own style guidelines and, as a result, incredibly dry and bland. They were keen that this project should break out of this trap.
I started by identifying the target groups within the organisation and devising key messages in the form of perceptions and benefits. After exploring a number of themes, I devised, developed and delivered a teaser and follow-up campaign that focused on the concept of performance, using dramatic theatrical imagery, including Cirque du Soleil.
Co-ordinating the creative and digital development with Iron Mountain’s online team and their third party service provider, I produced a campaign comprising of 9 concepts translated and executed in 8 languages. A showcase performance in itself.
