  •  Introducing the 'Cibo inepta'. This roughly translated from Latin as 'Silly food'. These small tasty creatures (Two males seen here carrying the eggs of their young), develop a glowing orb as they reach maturity. Unlike fierce predators such as the Angler fish, they do not use this orb for hunting, they simply become hypnotized by its gentle glow and stare at it unrelentingly, fearful that if they close their eyes, it won't be there when they open them again. Their favored hunting technique is to hang their sticky tongue out to capture daft insects that may land upon it. Many don't make it due to their sweet, nectar like innards and their sedentary lifestyle makes them ripe pickings for even slow and stupid predators.
