Tasked with the inundating assignment of creating book covers for the already-prolific designer/author Chip Kidd, I decided to borrow imagery from the books' time periods and based my covers and point-of-purchase displays on old fruit crate labels. I used a combination of custom and preexisting typefaces to achieve an evocative yet modern take with each of the pieces. For the p.o.p.'s, I used some of Kidd's not so favorable reviews for a humorous, tongue-in-cheek display. Read Less
