    Chinezenmoord: Batavia 1740
This is the final project that I finished on July 2010. An animated documentary about the ruthless murder of over 10,000 Chinese people in Batavia (Jakarta in present time) by the Dutch East Indies, and the racial policies that ended up provoking racial discrimination and violence between the Chinese in Indonesia and the locals.

The design was meant to bring the sad and depressed mood, and the character design symbolizes oppression and control, as the Chinese and the locals were oppressed by the Dutch East Indies, and the Dutch themselves were controlled by their own greed and lust for power.
