The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World

"The Handsomest Drowned Man in the World" is a short story by author Gabriel García Márquez. It tells the tale of a small, coastal fishing village interrupted by the arrival of a dead body washed up by the waves. This drowned man, which they named Esteban, has a huge impact on the village, which is forever changed by his arrival. This was a college project, resulting in producing a printed children's book, along with a soft-toy. The illustrations were created using only gouache.
