CHILDREN OF CHERNOBYL
My group of characters resides in the remnants of Chernobyl after the Nuclear disaster took place on 26 April 1986. The large amounts of radiation they my characters were exposed to caused some of them to mutate into strange unearthly beings.
After the disaster occurred in 1986, the people of Chernobyl were immediately evacuated, however, a handful of people were left behind, thought to be dead. However, these people were simply exposed to high levels of radiation to the point whereby it caused mutations in their bodies, some were able to live through these mutations but others were not as fortunate.
The Tenikov’s are a family consisting of 3 characters. Mr T. is the father of Ivan Tenikov. The radiation caused Bohdan to lose one of his arms, however, another had grown out from his existing arm. His son Ivan, was badly hurt from the radiation exposure and Bohdan was forced to remove some of his organs and replace them with mechanics.
Pudgy belongs to the Tenikov’s, he is their pet dog who has learnt to speak after the accident.
Lily is Ivan’s best friend and she is confident and proud despite her lack of hair and extra limbs. She is always trying to cheer Ivan up with her antics, sometimes getting him in trouble too. Victor is the dictator of the Children of Chernobyl, he refuses to let them venture out of their abandoned city as he is convinced society will never accept them in their state. He may come off as evil and overpowering at times, but in reality, he is clumsy and comical.
