Chicago Women's Health Center Brand Redesign & Strategy

Chicago Women's Health Center
Chicago Women’s Health Center, recipient of Firebelly's 2011 Grant for Good, underwent a complete rebrand to more accurately represent their mission and clientele. The new, more inclusive identity reflects the organization’s evolution over their 35-year history into both a women’s and trans-friendly health care provider in the city. Their new website serves as a source of information on CWHC’s services and programs, as well as a tool for client payments and users donations.

Typographic Choices: Type styling was selected to accentuate an optimistic, friendly and welcoming aesthetic while supporting the experience and history the organization carries with it. A mix of hand-drawn lettering, timeless font sets and a custom display set was used throughout all print and digital pieces.
Colors and Components: Knowing the ultimate goal for CWHC was to unveil the new brand and look during the final gala of the year, design accents and aesthetic selections were chosen in support of festivity and fun. A folded and photographed paper motif became the backdrop for a majority of the pieces and offered a unique sense of timeless class relating to the gala.
