Just about a year ago I was hired to photograph Chelsea Handler and help concept the cover for her just released new book, "Uganda Be Kidding Me". It's a collection of travel stories with several based in Africa so we developed a concept based on those two elements. I was tasked with photographing animals in multiple zoos and constructing a couple of rough backdrops/scenarios based around airports for Chelsea to choose from. I photographed Chelsea(and her dog, Chunk!) at Milk Studios in Los Angeles and we began the journey of completing the scene that grew into a full wrap for the cover.
