TYPOGRAPHIC MAP
Chartis Graphein was first created for Typeforce, a typographic art show based in Chicago. Being an avid collector of vintage maps, I had always wanted to design my own version of a world map. Designing one that was mostly typographic seemed fitting for the show. Organic geography mixed with structured grids, to me is the ultimate visual combination.
