Chairmat redesign

  • Chairmats are not cool, sexy nor are they fun to carry around. The team at Sanford asked me to redesign the look for chairmats along with the new box. The box design allows the consumer to safely and easily carry the chairmat. This also gives billboard to display the brand.

The idea behind this layout is to print directly to the corrugated box in one color and keep the design "chairmat generic". The sticker (in the black top and right areas) will carry the specific info about that particular chairmat's selling points. This is a economical way to save money for an expensive product.
  • This display was for Back-to-School to entice kids and parents. For the boxes, I added two other colors to the Rubbermaid Red to add some interest. Since the box was a direct print, it was a simple color switch.
  • The bottom PDQ display, was left up to me for all copy and design. I know kids really do not care about chairmats so I went full on graphic appeal.
