Asian hotel giant Centara contact us to create a bespoke exhibition to advertise their expansion at industry trade shows around Europe. We created three options based on their signature hotels.
Barefoot Concept
Based on a seaside resort we wanted to recreate a feeling of being outside, perhaps on a balcony in an exclusive bar looking out to sea.
We proposed using simple materials and finishes with Thai influences throughout; bamboo, artificial foliage and wood finish the effect.
The Sky bar Concept
Based on Centara’s iconic sky bar, we were keen to recreate a scale version of the glowing arch that provides the backdrop.
Luxurious fabrics and clever lighting offset the bench seating and tub chairs which echo the sky bar's decor. An opaque curtain discreetly offers a division from the main space whilst a large image of the back wall makes the space seem far larger than it is.
The glowing arch can change colours throughout the day to make the stand feel completely different.
The Hotel Concept
This concept was designed to create a very contemporary, minimal and stylish stand with an emphasis on the finishes and furniture.
The reception desk is a bold angular desk with glass logo board behind it. As you walk on to the stand you are greeted much like in the hotel, you can then choose to sit in the Private meeting area or causal seating.
Open plan and flexible to echo the Pre Function area at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao, with its bold white floor and dark furniture. The red has been added to emphasise the corporate colours of Centara.
