- This piece was designed as a piercing challenge. Designing Celtic knots has been a hobby of mine for quite a few years, but designing one around specific shapes (in this case two candles) is much more of a challenge.The process of designing a knot involves the use of a grid and marking out the breaks in what would otherwise be simple latticework. After designing the knot, the challenge then became piercing accurately.
