One of the best ways to celebrate the cultural and ethic diversity over here in my country is to celebrate it during the annual independence day celebrations in August. This is a tremendous opportunity for organisations to celebrate with the nation her cultural richness, sense of pluralism in various aspects of the social strate, economic achievements, though not necessarily in that order.
But I guess the most honest celebrations can usually be found in educational institutions, where things are a little more down-to-earth, and less pretentious.
Here I've managed to capture the key aspects of this independence day celebrations, which was celebrated through games, and a little food. What better way than to show these young charges the true value of pluralism, lest they take it for granted.
