Cåy Tre / Bamboo Bánh Khọt Restaurant and Café
The proprietor wanted to update their card to include English and a map.
I used bamboo colours and a subtle bamboo pattern on the front. In order to accommodate both English and Vietnamese I used only the essential information and removed the often used text exclaiming how excellent the product is and how pleased they would be to serve you. I 'emphasised' the English by dropping the accent marks from bánh khọt and adding one to café. Perhaps a little silly emphasising the French, however.
All the location and contact details are on the reverse with a clear and simplified map incorporating the lightest and darkest colours from the front. Plus a single star for the location on the map (I thought of suing a gold coloured one but that would have seemed a little tacky).
Once again I've used a single font: Diavlo
