Nestled on the chalky white cliffs of Dover, England. Cavendish Chocolate Company, established since 1827, added a new line of Colorful Coated Candy to their infamous chocolate creations. The assignment called for the development of logo that embodies the essence of the company; in addition, two package designs for the new line of candy.
Concept & Execution:
My aim for this project was to create an easily recognizable symbol which conveys a sense of nostalgia for both new and loyal customers. My thought process began with 1800 prints and etchings; however, over looking the pastoral tops of the cliffs came my second design element, the sheep. With the combination of both and other found components allowed be to arrive at my final logo, a logo that would age with time but still kept it’s authenticy in the years to come.
