These photos were taken along the Snowdon Horseshoe in Snowdonia National Park, Wales.  The Horseshoe is one of the more challenging hiking routes to the summit of Mt Snowdon, and much of it is technically a scramble.  Crib Goch is the ridge that makes up the most spectacular (and treacherous) part of the Horseshoe; a misplaced step on Crib Goch could easily send you plummeting hundreds of feet, as has happened tragically on a number of occasions.
