We produced this explainer animation for The Department of Transport via production company Picturascope in London.
Catapult is a new transport initiative, a centre that is being built for future transports to be tested, designed, and for the future methods to be developed. We were approached by Picturascope to come up with a look that was creative, distinct, but also clear in it's communication.
The client was keen on the marker pen animations which are used by many corporate videos. We wanted to take this as a starting point but then move it into other directions. Therefore we decided upon the sketched texture as a constant that would run throughout the sequence.
