Castello di Amorosa

  • Castello di Amorosa
    High-end and low-end wine designs
  • The project was to redesign Castello di Amorosa's collection of wines keeping their image in mind. One of the designs reflects a higher price point Cabernet Sauvignon [$150-$200] and the other two design reflect a much lower price point Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay [$25-$35]. The concept for the high-end design came from the fact that the winery is Italian. Based on Italy's map, which is shaped like a boot, I came up with the concept of making this wine target fashionable women. The use of leather and the construction of the piece that goes on top of the bottle was to symbolize a boot and fashion in general. The color palette also highlights a fashionable the attitude and spark of a fashionable woman. The wine would also come with a gift box, made with leather to tie in the entire look.

The lower-end wines are designed to appeal to both men and women. The design mimics some of the architectural details of the winery located in Napa Valley. The label on the art was applied on top instead of it being a part of the background to give the look more depth.
