Carnivorous Plants: Beauty and Deception
For this project we were asked to create a book about any topic that interests us, the goal being to encourage others interest through our use of photography and typography. I find carnivorous plants to be intriguing, scientifically and aesthetically. The majority of the photography for this book was taken at California Carnivores in Sebastopol, California. My use of type and graphic elements conveys both the mystery and deception associated with plants of this nature.
