The creative approach defined by directors Mike Huber and Philipp Zünd of boutiq was to use high-speed photography to display the dynamic color and value range of the new line of Caran d’Ache paints and crayons.It was assumed from the very beginning of the project that we would shoot with the new Weisscam HS-2 enabling 2000 fps in 1080p. In post the individual high speed shots of exploding liquids and flying crayon pieces were comped into one final shot.
