The brief was to design a raised stand for a small mobilecob oven. Utilising materials found on site and in keeping with the transientdesign language of the project , Ash Sakula’s Canning Town Caravanserai.
Careful selection of weathered materials connects the bolddesign aesthetic of the café and long table.
Construction detailing reconciles the functionalneed for strength and mobility with the need to create an illusion ofinstability and impermanence.
Temporary exhibition designed to occupy retail kiosk for apromotional event. The brief was to transform eight kiosks into inspirationalspaces in just five hours using only the resources available on site. This rapid design response pays tribute tothe volunteers and professionals who made the project a reality.
