A while ago I was in a funk and was tired of lighting the same, editing the same etc. I wanted to shoot something for me, something different than the paying jobs I was getting. I longed to just shoot people being people instead of trying to draw something out that is hidden.
I posed a question on Facebook, quite literally, "Can I hang out with your Grandparents?"
To my surprise I got quite a few responses and here is one of those occasions.
I went over to their lovely home, brought all my fancy gear and everything. As soon as I walk into a location I start thinking about where I am going to put my lights, posing etc.
In the end, we drank coffee, they played cards and talked and I took a few pictures. Here are a few of them.
