Along with the marketing department at INB and Peter Starkel of Brand Champion, the theme of a live, interactive and full scale game from a very popular app became the focus of the INB booth at this year's Business Connections Convention.
My part was to promote their presence at the convention with magazine and newspaper advertisements, to create interest on the website with a web banner, to incorporate the theme into the booth with an oversized illustration for the background of the game, and further integrate the theme at the booth with a table top banner, a label for a give-away package and a button for employees to wear.
Simplicity and understatement was the concept for the ad campaign; hinting at the theme just enough to gain interest. For the illustration, I was able to have good photography to start with that combined both their main branch location and the state capitol. After arriving at a positive tagline and a brief study of the animation style, I got to work on the background illustration while the marketing department at INB pulled other elements together.
