For this project we had to rebrand a company. I chose Camp Eagle Ridge, which is a youth leadership summer camp. My goals for this project were to make the company attractive to parents, as well as keep it fun and interesting for youth.
I chose to exclude imagery of people to keep the design classic and inviting for both youth and adults. The imagery used consists of close-up nature shots. Those images were used to create texture, rather than to show an entire scene.
I developed a series of patterns and icons that are carried out throughout all branding aspects of the company. They were developed through extensive research of Native American symbols. The patterns and icons are meant to be a fun and interesting attraction for youth, but also as a learning tool to help youth grow and develop throughout their stay at the camp. Read Less
